But how often do you do that re-configuration, and so how important is
that (really small) speed enhancement? If both approaches had a great
deal of importance to all user-demographics then I would agree, both
would need to be provided somehow, but the benefits of the menu system
are *so* minor that it's worth neither the extra complexity nor the
extra documentation.
