Hi,
FYI, the migration of Ubuntu's archive[1] to Launchpad's archive
management infrastructure, Soyuz, has been completed successfully.
Changes
-------
To quickly recap, changes are as follows:
(o) The archive at http://archive.ubuntu.com/ remains unchanged
(o) The procedure for uploads, syncs, removal and backport requests
is also unchanged (for now).
(o) Who can upload (and to what component) is now controlled by
Launchpad; see [1] for help if you find you can no longer upload.
(o) The buildd process is now more transparent, some useful URLs:
* https://launchpad.net/+builds
* https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+builds
* https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/<package>/<version>
[And see the portlet on the bottom right hand side]
Feedback
--------
Any feedback is welcome: discuss Soyuz and Launchpad on the mailing
list launchpad-users at lists.canonical.com or on the IRC channel
#launchpad on irc.freenode.net.
You can also help out by filing bug reports on problems you find.

Thanks
------
Thanks to everyone who helped make this a reality -- in particular
Daniel Silverstone and Celso Providelo who are responsible for writing
almost all of the soyuz code, and Christian Robottom Reis for driving
the migration. Thanks also to various members of the distro team who
also helped at various points, in particular Matt Zimmerman, Colin
Watson, Fabio Massimo Di Nitto, Tollef Fog Heen and Jeff Bailey.
