In my experience as former Latin America UbuCon Leader is, a key factor for
this to succeed have more than one LoCo involve, get your neighbour
countries' LoCos involve even just for on-line work or promotion, but make
everyone feel this is not a Tunisia event but a regional event! that way it
will have some future to change location in some time, if not it will be a
One time event.
Plan with time, this kinds of events take long and having the dates and
location with like 6 months in advance will allow people to travel to the
UbuCon, most of us are regular people with other jobs in order to attend to
an event like this people have to plan in advance.
at the end it worth it, but is a ton of work!
