Recognising Ubuntu organisations

Good morning everybody,

I've read all the mails regarding this
topic now and still I think that "Membership" is not quite suitable for
NGOs etc. My thoughts are more directed to something like "Ubuntu
Ambassador" which still would recognize the work of the specific
organization. But in my personal opinion a "member" should be a human
and not an organization.

Regarding review I'd say that we should ask
them to provide a video or odp for us to inform about their work. If
they are convincing us (aka the Loco-Team-Council) they get access to a
special "Ubuntu Ambassador" Logo for their website and the Right to
carry the title "Ubuntu Ambassador".

This way the effort for us is kept
to a minimum and still we are able to "reward" organizations for their
work in promoting *buntu.

Regards,
Silverlion
