Hi Chris, nice forums but there seem to be so many now. I did as Amir says
but now I have another problem, I had to download Synaptic to do what Amir
suggested and now when I enter my password to open Synaptic, it opens for a
fraction of a second and vanishes ! I can't find it anywhere. So I'm stuck
again. I hope 12.04 will be better. all the best.
