eh.. tentei fazer isso no breezy usando o driver 7676 e nada..
primeiramente dava erro na versao do gcc.. q era 4.0 nao consegui
instalar a 3.4 sem q a 4.0 tivesse instalada.. por fim.. removi todas
as versoes do GCC.. mudei meu sources.list temporariamente para
repositorios do hoary.. e instalei o gcc 3.4 soh q daee.. o erro
relativo ao gcc parou de aparecer.. e depois o erro passou a ser no
"nvidia.ko" daee desisti.. to usando o Hoary again :/
qdo estava a versao 4.0 e a 3.4 instalada.. tentei:
CC=gcc-3.4
export CC

mas nao mudava nada.. nao sei se a versao 7667 seria diferente..
alias.. nem achei ela no site da nvidia..
