Ja maar....

* Synaptic voor system-wide pakketinstallatie heeft altijd  
beheerdersrechten nodig....
Een gewone gebruiker kan niet prutsen aan de rc's of andere zaken in  
de /etc dir.
Je kan enkel gemakkelijk in je /home vanalles uitsteken...
* default kan een gewone gebruiker vanalles installeren op een  
windows machine,
en dat lijkt me een verkeerde policy.

Yes but
- synaptic needs 'admin' privileges to install software system-wide.
A normal user can't mess up his runlevels, /etc directory....
- with a default windows installation, most users can install a lot  
of things,
en that's a wrong policy.

UAC is an annoying feature....http://www.apple.com/getamac/  
(security) is not that far from reality....
