I think some of you guys are missing the point here. A female member of
the team has raised an issue and instead of trying to engage with it we
get this "political correctness gone mad" crap. If you want to carry on
like that there is the letters page of <insert name of metro news corp
daily newspaper />.
It would appear that a majority feels that guys is a neutral term to
refer to a group of people. It is likely remain a majority who feel
like this if when women in the group raise issues they are treated like
this. At this rate we might as call the group ubuntu-au-guys to make it
clear that women really aren't welcome.
I think some people need to show a little more respect on this issue.
