deleting emails in evolution

Hi Peter,

(my mail delivery is a bit erratic atm so my apologies if someone has
answered this already)

Have a play with the View menu, in particular the 'Hide deleted
messages' option.

Also what has caught me sometimes is leaving the search field non-blank.
