Getting sarcasm across is hard when most of the statements make not
much sense or are (partially) untrue.
First of all: you're not all conservatives. The fact that you don't
hate your president doesn't mean there aren't other people calling for
his dead. There are indeed a lot of people against Mr Obama because of
his

What big corporations are supporting the left? Names? I do see a lot
of large American companies supporting the Republican party -- the
'tea parties' and the them accompanying frenzy wouldn't have been
there, at least not in that size and with that much support of
companies -- but not so many supporting the left. That could also be
because your left is very small. Here in the Netherlands the Democrats
are generally considered to be centre-right. Anything that comes even
close to the centre is called left, socialist, fascist and liberal.
Funny (or sad), because that doesn't fit with the way we learnt those
terms on school. The only party in the Netherlands that says it
supports the Republicans when every now and then we all get crazy for
a more glamorous election is the VVD, nicknamed: 'the Liberals'.
FoxNews' definition of liberal doesn't make any sense anymore.

Testing one's credibility by comparing his own principles to his
behaviour doesn't mean we should comply with them as well. Having a
mistress is maybe indeed to much, but I've only heard of one case
involving a Democrat and multiple involving very conservative
Republicans.

I do believe that there is something terribly wrong with the world
view and common knowledge of many Americans, maybe caused by a weak
educational system. A surprising large amount doesn't know much about
the rest of the world. Yes, you could say that you don't need to know
everything about everyone. However, if you call yourself a world
leader that gives you a certain responsibility. A leader needs to
understand his subordinates. Otherwise it will fail horrific and you
get situations were there are (well-educated and reasonable) people in
their allied countries cheering when horrifying things like the attack
on the WTC happen. The stupidity, ignorance and refusal to listen
properly to one's opponents create so much hate that it is a surprise
the US still have so much good will left. Don't blame Mr Obama when in
the future your influence will be diminishing; it already started a
long time ago.
Only with reason you can stop it, so the Republicans will be the end
of the US for they've abandoned reason already for a long time.

I did not want to sound harsh, but I'm afraid I did. However, I do not
hate the US, I do not hate all Americans I just find stupidity,
ignorance and refusal to listen properly to one's opponents so
repulsing. Moreover, what I've written down was also a observation,
not necessarily my own opinion. But that should be clear in the text.

Regards,
