I for one would like to welcome our new Oracle overlords and condemn
all these naysayers :-) (any Simpsons fans?)
Seriously though, whether or not Oracle buys up Canonical or another
company or spins off their own distro it can only help the evolution
of Linux -- Oracle has a _lot_ of resources and a _lot_ of experience
(and an axe to grind with MS). Plus, their involvement would make
Linux's presence on the DB scene that much bigger.
Either way it'll be a win for Linux.
