I'm thinking that Jeff knows why the sounder list was made... being as
how he's the list admin and all.

There is a middle line to be drawn here. Yes, this list is for random
chit chat, but purposeless mails and mails which have nothing to do with
ubuntu and/or linux at all should really be addressed to other mailing
lists.

People who subscribe to mailing lists do so for a reason: every list
(including sounder) has a topic, and there is no point dragging out the
"sounder is for everything" argument, because it's obviously not for
everything.

This list is really a must-subscribe for everyone who is interested in
Ubuntu community activity, so it's very frustrating when completely
irrelevant and/or useless threads develop.
