roll back / more options for .po import

Hi,
first sorry for my bad English but I think it is enough to translate
programs correctly into my mother tongue :-)
I just noticed that someone overwrote my translations from
update-notifier. That is really bad because the new translation had had
a lot of spelling mistakes etc. I tried to correct nearly everything and
I hope that it is ok now.
That's why I think we need a roll back function. The new translation was
not neutral, the spelling was not ok everywhere and I missed punctuation
marks.
I invested a lot of time to check my translation etc. Then someone came
and overwrote it with a bad translation. That is not really nice.
It could be that the person who overwrote it used the .po import
function (I think so) and wanted to fill the strings that are not
translated yet. What about selecting if everything should be overwritten
or if only the strings that are not translated should be overwritten?
Again sorry for my English ;-)
Thanks,
Martin
