Translating in Rosetta

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions... and yes, i've read the wiki.

1. How can i know the correct way of translating applications through 
Rosetta? Should i mark it to be reviewed or no?
2. Where translations come from (i mean, imported from gnome sources, 
etc)? So the translation team doesn't lose translations.
3. Is the translations done by team members of a translation group 
(pt_BR, in my case) accepted automatically when it is done?
4. Should i translate in Breezy or Hoary? If i translate something in 
hoary, does it get imported to Breezy?
