Right, but patch review is an essential part of getting people "to the
point where they don't need sponsoring anymore".

It's just that changes in packages in main are more likely to affect a
lot of users and I'm interested who you've worked with on main packages
and how that worked out.

Sometimes to fix a problem in Kubuntu you might have to touch a package
that has no K in the name (something freedesktop-y), did you have cases
where you had to coordinate work there?
