OT: PPC 14.04 with the desktop freeze/radeon driver

Thanks for the thought, might be worth a try; right now I have not loaded
the b43 wifi drivers . . . so wifi is not set up or being used . . . just
hard-wired by ethernet, etc.  Would that make any difference to what you
are suggesting?
