Lubuntu 14.10 and after

I think the two projects (LXDE and RazorQt) simply found common goals, philosophy and duplication of effort. I imagine they figured everybody working on the same thing would produce better results overall. Lubuntu devs don't gave much choice other than forking LXDE, which would be taking on more work than they want, I'm sure.

So we wont have a choice after 14.04 which I just upgraded to, we will
all be forced to QT based apps?

qt is what, KDE base apps right? all of KDE uses QT right?

I dont understand why they're forcing us to move over? Whats so ground
breaking about LXQT than what were using now LXDE?
