I've seen that old canard pop up over time more than once.  Before giving 
it any credence, I'd prefer to see hard data and market analysis.  

More important that what it is called is how much it is covered in the 
media.  There is a little coverage in the mainstream tech media.  That is 
a good start.  For example, PCWorld has covered Fedora Linux on several 
occasions.  If we can get Lubuntu (and the others) covered this year, that 
would be great.  Places to try would be PCWorld, PC Magazine, eWeek, 
InfoWorld, InformationWeek, and others.  I'm sure there are many more, 
each with a slightly different focus.
