Strange Icon sizes in menu [12.10]

[UH]

I've exactly the same phenomenon (with alsamixergui and qasmixer in
the topic audio/video) on a i386 machine where i upgraded to 12.10. On
a amd64 where i installed from scratch this does not happen.
