Update for LxTerminal?

LxTerminal in 12.04 and 12.10 contains a copy/paste bug, where using
'Shift-Control-C' to copy highlighted text passes ^C to the
application (in addition to actually copying the text to the
clipboard.)  'Shift-Control-V' to paste likewise passes ^V to the
terminal.  The work-around is to use the context menu for Copy/Paste
functions.

This bug has been fixed in the LXDE source tree:

Is there any way we can get an updated LxTerminal pushed to the Ubuntu packages?
