The day after this issue is fixed it is still a good idea to check that the alternate built. Doing the testcases is a good idea to make sure nothing has broke the alternate image in the last 4 days and more lead time is better than less with bugs that cause the installation to fail. Althuogh isn't the next 14.04 point release on the schedule soon.
