I could not agree more. I actually intended this to go in a different mail
thread. There is another thread about yet another community for users. I
agree with you though. Users are the driving for behind Ubuntu. The Dev and
programmers are who make it happen and do a beautiful job at this. But the
users are a driving force. I just don;t want new users to get confused or
overwhelmed when trying to find where to go to start giving back.
I am a member of an unapproved team as well and I am not a member either. I
was unaware I was supposed to me an approved member to put my name on a
business card promoting the Ubuntu loCo.
Yes users need a place to go. I think this one is a good idea. This is
directly tied to the wiki, Ubuntu, and the CC which could offer guidance to
new users seeking to help out.
