Depends what they're doing.  I don't mind having another web site in
principle, I just don't want it to replicate functionality of existing
ones.  ie, there's no point in having more forums, wikis, bug report
systems, etc., but there could be some usefulness to social
networking.  I know I've added some Ubuntu people as "friends" on
Facebook, and used that for messaging and whatnot, so there are some
areas you could do decent things with it - just be careful.
