Problem installing wmware-tools on kubuntu 10.10 maverick guest os.

i've only run esx (which just mounts an img or iso and lets you take care of
the rest). i presume you're referring to osx or server or whatever they call
it now? i think vmware provides their 'tools' on their website and *i think*
it's one size fits all here. so, you might try looking for the vmware tools
debian package on their web site. also, a quick google gets you this:
