Upgrade to kde 4.3 rc2

And Steven, are you now back to KDE? My advice would be that 
you might install another desktop, so that you will have an 
alternative, when KDE will not start.

 From a console, enter:
sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop

This will install Xubuntu, and when you cannot get KDE to 
run, you choose "xubuntu" from your login screen and then 
you can use all of your Applications that you are used to 
from xubuntu. Thus you will avoid the boot CD hassle.
