updates on 9.04

  Thanks, I found most of that out and used aptitude to resolve it. I didn't 
upgrade, I purchased a new computer and downloaded 9.04 to install on it, 
having been very pleased for many moons with daper drake,  I think I am going 
to like the current version just as much once I get a few kinks ironed out.
