But then, Firefox won't open all pages as they are intended [ IE* only 
content ] either.

SO, I guess the way to do it is to try Konqueror first. Then if that 
doesn't work try Firefox. From there it's down the list Opera, 
Seamonkey, Chrome,etc. ad infinitum et nauseum. Finally just boot into 
Windows and use IE as a last resort.
