What is x configuration and how do I go about correcting a problem in the x configuration?

No.  This is probably not the right thread to put this response in, but I 
lost track of the original thread.

You simply have Konqueror set to report javascript errors.  Open Konqueror, 
"Settings", "Configure Konqueror", "Java and Javascript" (should be the last 
option on the page), then select the Javascript tab.

Turn OFF "Report Errors"
