Enabled Wifi when there is no wire

Not for me...  My last laptop (and any one using a PC-card NIC, ime) didn't 
have a switch, but I rarely use the one on this laptop either.

It probably is a good idea, but I don't rely on my laptop batteries anyway.

ONLY!!!!!  Luxury :-)  Never had a battery that good!
