Kde v gnome

I have an agp x 1300 --- 256 -- I know I have a dinosaur box ;p- -- what is
xubuntu desktop --- I have the kubuntu shell with both gnome and kde
sessions installed. do they play well together? meaning, if I install wine
under gnome it will be there in kde?
