No, it doesn't.  Explain how the dev team quitting helps you.

No...  I didn't say they were.  /You/ said, "If bugs are not going to be
properly addressed by the development team, then that team needs to just
close the project and be done with it." which again makes no sense,
because someone else doing less work can not conceivably help you here.
