Intrepid?? KDE4 is causing a ruckus, how is Gnome with the new system?

PS I find Gnome to be useless also, If I go that route, useless that
is, then I use Xubuntu and get useless, small and fast at the same
time. I asked the question to find out about stuff in Kubuntu not
including KDE.
