Is this the correct MD5sum-code for my Kubuntu 8.10 iso file?

You can findd the MD5SUMS on the download website here:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/kubuntu/8.10/MD5SUMS
it's a text file with the codes for all Kubuntu versions

And yes, your checksum is correct.
