I think the real question is will Cannoicle (sp?) support 3.5.10. The
answer appears to be no. I would be a little surprised if someone out
there doesn't write a "how to". I can't see what dependencies 3.5.10
would have that won't be met by 4.2. So it should be relatively easy. It
seems like you will have to add a new repository that has the 3.5.10
packages, and install it.
I do know that 8.10 started using .kde as folder for kde 4 properties
(in older versions they had been using .kde4.) so there might be some
setting collisions.
I bet it will come if we are patient.
