And  you don't see the overall aggressiveness and whininess from those who 
continue to gripe and complain about something that isn't going to change in 
our distro as a factor in this?

Maybe those of us using Intrepid  (and perhaps KDE4 on Hardy) as their main 
desktop are having a hard time understanding the vitriol and repetition and 
fud being spread, often from folks who often haven't spent any real time with 
KDE4 *recently* or have read things from months ago that are either fixed or 
not relevant anymore. I myself find the endless rants silly, though I do know 
they are not meant to be mean or derogatory or negative in their true intent.

I am neither pro-KDE4 nor am I a KDE3-uber-alles. I happen to like KDE4 more. 
I also see that if I plan on using KDE3 for a while longer, I am going to have 
to keep with that ancient, crusty thing from the Dark Ages :) called Hardy 
Heron  (which I plan to do once my dead machines are revived).
