This is true and if you still don't like KDE 4 this time next year, you 
probably will never like it.  You should then give another desktop a try 
like Gnome, Xfce.  You should never really "marry" a particular desktop 
anyway and should give others a try.  KDE is my favourite and I do like 
KDE 4, but I have tried, and like Gnome, Xfce, and even IceWM.
