Because I got scared. What happened during this post happens a lot. I
was afraid I did not understand and would screw up. Also, I am still
not sure that that is the option I really want. I am not going to try
with you on this issue anymore; I hate the stress I put on you. I
didn't realize it until it was too late.

I still haven't been able to make myself understood though. That is
very frustrating. But I still want to solve the problem, so my new
computer will work the way I want it to. I sacrificed everything for
more than a year and purchased components for my dream computer.

It is probably out of date by now, because my first successful bids took
place a year ago. I bought 6 sticks of ECC Axiom DDR2 667mhz 2gb ea
when they were still selling for $798 each for $100. My new computer
has 4 of them with 2 in reserve.

I bought an AMD 9600 processor for $130 including shipping when they
sold for over $400. Now they are worth about what I paid for it, Quad
Core. I purchased an ASUS Mempipe AM2+ board for $170. It still is
about $100 under retail.

I purchased 1TB Maxtor Sata drive for $80 when they were $498. I
purchased a BFG 800W Power Supply for $69 and it costs $275. I haven't
checked it lately, But when I purchased it was marked down to $199 then
$109 for one day only and I purchased it that day on NewEgg. Then I
found a $40 rebate for it.

I got anxious at the end and was willing to pay retail for the case. It
has washable filter system and two 3 speed fans. It retailed for $210.
I got lucky on Ebay two weeks ago and purchased it for $53. I got a
$300 22" monitor for $170 including shipping. I am using it now. It is
wonderful. Sure beats my 17" crt that it replaced. In all I paid 9% of
its parts price. I am solving the BIOS or boot or whatever problem
right now. That is why I didn't want to lose contact with the world
right now. So not having to format is pretty great.

The onboard Video is nVidia 8xxx, the onboard sound is 8.1. The
computer is fully assembled and won't boot to the BIOS yet. It has to
be a part problem, because I was as careful as a human can be.

I do not and never will play video games, but I have an artists dream
for number crunching. I hope I live to use it.

In my whole life I have never had anything so nice; hand-me-down computers,

My anxiety is extreme. I am waiting for ASUS and AMD to provide some
answers, because it may be there where the problem is. I am as anxious
as a child at Christmas time.

Life is Greeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttt,

Cudos, Cheers! Caio Bello, and Cordially and Mucho Smoochoos to Mamasita

Steven
