change refresh in 8.10?

Hello All,

I think you need other drivers or going back to your earlier os, or
change your vidiocard ?

I am using now an nvidia with 256 mb, but that one is only made for
microsoft i think.
my kubuntu 8.10 did not work on it, so i am back at ubuntu 8.10.
