The issue of culture difference has been addressed in Linux mailing
lists 15 years ago. Criticism should be constructive criticism, not
vague ill-defined words. No personal attacks. Using the word 'stupid'
was both an attack on the author, and provided no clue as to what the
user's problem was. When told to stop using the word, he insisted and
attacked the software's author in no uncertain terms.
