KMail installation problems

It has been helpful, thanks. Although, It is working when i open Kontact, but there is no seperate, Kmail application. Is that how it should be?

|a "wrapper" for Kmail, Korganizer, etc. If Kmail wouldn't start on  it's 
|own, I'm not surprised that it wouldn't start in Kontact. Sorry I can't
