KMail installation problems

No. I'm not at home right now, so I'll try to confirm this tonight 
(also, I'm running KDE4, so my results may not even help you), but I 
remember being able to run all the various Kontact components 
separately. I could have sworn they used to have individual menu entries 
as well, although this may no longer be the case.
