At some time recently, an incomplete install broke kicker, and I ended up
having to completely rebuild my kicker panel.  There's not much you can do
besides rebuild it.  Just right-click on an empty part of the bar (if there
are no empty parts, right click on any drag bar and choose "panel menu").
Then add the Taskbar Applet to the panel.
