Sorry, I am not using anything related to Verizon. My observation and tips are
from working with MAC address's in the past. My instinct is telling me your
modem grabbed the MAC address of the first computer you connected it to, and
when you tried to connect the router, the MAC didn't match the one in the
modem, therefore, you cannot connect using the router until you change the
MAC that is on the Modem.
