Cannot watch web videos in Mozilla 2.0.0.8 (solved)

Jonathan,
As you can see from my last message (below), I already have the plugin for
FFX Flash 9 r48 (libflashplayer.so) installed.
What I have done now is removed all the other (earlier) Shockwave Flash
plugins,
which apparently were interfering with the operation of libflashplayer.so,
and... now, as if by magic, I can enjoy videos in Mozilla. Fantastic!

Just untar it and put the plugin, called libflashplayer.so where you usually
put your plugins for FFx. See if it works then.
