Cannot watch web videos in Mozilla (solved)

As you can see from my last message (below), I already have the plugin for
FFX Flash 9 r48 ( installed.
What I have done now is removed all the other (earlier) Shockwave Flash 
which apparently were interfering with the operation of,
and... now, as if by magic, I can enjoy videos in Mozilla. Fantastic!

Just untar it and put the plugin, called where you usually
put your plugins for FFx. See if it works then.
