Generally I find that KMail has better support for managing traffic
from mailing lists, most specifically ones that don't change the
reply-to in the message to the mailing list address (there are a few
out there...)

Thunderbird isn't quite as good with that, but then again, neither is
GMail itself.

Can't win 'em all, I suppose.
