When I had this decision - 1+ years ago - kmail was the best app with most
features. The "killerfeature" was the disconnected imap - so you have your
email also offline - and the perfect keyboard control. Not speaking from
reply-to-list, reply-to-autor, reply-to-all. Perfect if you have to deal
with a lot of misconfigured mailinglist...
