query about running system services

According to the Wikipedia page on runlevel (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runlevel) Debian (including Ubuntu) does not
make a distinction between runlevels 2 to 5,so they are all the same. It
also says that Ubuntu uses upstart instead of the usual init process but
this was only included in edgy and later releases and as you are using
dapper it doesn't affect you.
