virtual OS solutions?

I used Virtual Box for a while.  It worked good, some things that may present 
difficulties.....I could copy/paste files to shared folders between the vm 
and the host os, but could not do a save as directly to the folder via the 
vm--Win XP Pro.  Another op reported USB issues...did not have any of these.  
The other issue I had was Virtual Boxes inabilities to write to CDR/RW 
DVDR/RW, this is a limitation of the software and not a bug.  Virtual Box was 
fairly easy to install.
