I'm just guessing here because you didn't provide much information, but 
it looks to me like you just did a fresh install and can't log in 
because you got the user name and/or password wrong.

If this is the case, reboot and choose 'recovery mode' in the boot menu. 
   This will give you a command prompt.  To check your user name, use 
the command 'ls /home'.  You can set a new password with the command 
'passwd  name' where name is your user name.  You will then be prompted 
to enter a new password.  Enter the command 'reboot', and you should be 
able to boot normally and enter your user name and password at the login 
screen.
