At your advice in a previous thread, I installed gutenprint as the default 
driver for kprinter.  I had already installed it for the gimp.  Everything 
works fine.  I use Epson, not HP, though, if that makes a difference.  In 
case it is in some other repo, I can send you my sources.list.
